Ink: first part summary

I've a new idea for a book/movie. IF it were to become a movie I'd prefer it to be an anime style, similar to Howl's Moving Castle and such. It's /another/ beauty and the beast, but instead of a prince, a Wizard, Lux, is turned into an inky black, ever changing beast for being cocky. His apprentice, Jaxley, was turned into a raven. The only way to undo the curse is to marry a maiden by her will before the black rose dies. In another town, miles away, a young maiden's father goes to travel. Knowing her daughters' requests, he stops at the castle of the Wizard and attempts to steal a small pearly crystal. Enraged at this theft, the beast, now calling himself Ink, threatens to take the man prisoner for life. The man reveals he has three daughters, Violet, Elora, and Eris. Ink thinks a bit, and tells him to bring his most beautiful daughter to him. Agreeing to this bargain, the man brings Eris to the monster...
