TDROTI-ish A New Start part 1

<The new contestants are arriving shortly,> Scott thought to himself. He thought this would give him more of an advantage to manipulate the others. He watched carefully as each camper stepped onto the dock. One girl caught his eye. She wasn't incredibly tall, but she wasn't incredibly short, just a couple inches shorter than him. Her hair was insane. A black mohawk with multi-coloured streaks donned her head. She had one blank, white eye, and many body piercings. She stepped onto the dock, throwing a black duffle bag onto the ground with her.

"Campers, this is Vicky!" Chris announced, playing off Vicky's name a bit. "She's new here, and I want you to make her feel...welcome," he smirked.

"Alrighty, where ya gonna put me, Chris?" she looked him in the eyes and smiled.

"Just wait until the others arrive, then you'll find your teams," Chris replied, shooing Vicky away. She stood next to Scott and folded her arms across her chest. She huffed impatiently.

"Why is it always me that has to be put in with the outcasts?" Vicky joked about, smiling a crooked, half-smile.

"Maybe 'cause you are an outcast," Scott replied. Vicky looked at him as he chuckled a little. She gave him an open mouthed look. He looked back at her.

"Don't worry, I'm just kidding," he shrugged and looked back at the boats arriving. Vicky stared for a bit, then decided to forget it. He was just another geek that didn't care.

"The next to arrive is Mo! All the way from...Uh...Lim...Bo?" Chris asked Mo. Mo nodded in response.

"That's right, I'm from a magic Limbo. I come from nowhere, and I'm most definitely going somewhere!" she smiled, her purple-red hair covering her eyes. She walked over to the others and started creating conversation with a few others.

"Next up is Talluuuuulah!" Chris said, prolonging the u sound in Tallulah's name.

Tallulah blushed and wiped her ruby-red hair from her eyes and giggled.

"And now we have Nova!" Chris announced. "'Sup, Nova?"

"Eh, nothin much, just got on this show a' course!" she said happily, and went to stand by Zoey.

"And last, but not least, Pika!" Chris said with a smile.

"Oh my gosh it is so great to be here!" Pika said with a little enthusiasm. She ran over to stand by Jo.

"What will happen next?" Tallulah whispered to Nova, her childhood friend.

"Well, we'll probably get our teams."

"Weren't there supposed to be boys coming along too, though?" Vicky said, tilting her head.

"Yes, but their boat got lost I think," Nova turned to Vicky.

"Oh, I hope I get some good peeps on my team!" Pika giggled lightly.

"Pika, you're my kind a' girl!" Vicky said, putting her arm around Pika's shoulders.

-STATIC-
"No, I don't mean in THAT way, I'm just saying she's my type of friend," Vicky said to the confession cam and folded her arms again.
-STATIC-

Chris grabbed a megaphone and began announcing. "Alright everyone, time to meet the rest of the campers!"

"The rest?" Vicky said, confused.

-STATIC-
"Weren't the, you know, rest of the campers supposed to be, I dunno, LOST?" Tallulah said in the confessional, looking irritated.
-STATIC-

"Campers, this is Bruno. Big, bad, and bold, he's here because he got in a little trouble with the law," Chris said, smiling.

"A little?" Pika asked.

"Yeah," Bruno said with a 'gangster'-esque accent. "Not'in too serious though. Just a misunderstandin'."

"I see," Pika said suspiciously.

"Next is Baaasstion. He is loud and proud, and I mean it in THAT way!" Chris laughed as the purple-clad brunette stepped on the dock.

-STATIC-
"Yes, I'm gay. Anyone has a problem with that, I'll break their arm," Basion said with a soft smile.
-STATIC-

Bastion stepped towards Vicky.

"Hit on me and you die, mauve-alous," Vicky joked. She and Bastion had been friends since childhood, so she understood him.

"As if, sweetie," Bastion smiled at Vicky.

"Next there's Shane, he-"

"I can talk for myself, thanks, Chris," Shane said sarcastically. "I'm a dark, brooding, creepy-hearted freak. That's all you need to know."

-STATIC-
"Okay, that kid's messed up. I don't know what it is though, but I'm slightly attracted to him," Nova smiled.
-STATIC-

"Ray comes from a long line of writers and authors, isn't that right, Ray?" Chris asked.

"I guess it's true. My family is just full of them," Ray said with a smug smile.

"Typical snobby rich kid," Vicky said to Pika. "Watch out for him. He's a genuine troublemaker."

"HEY! HEY HEY HEY!" came an angry female voice from the boat. "SOMEONE FORGOT I WAS COMING!"

Then they saw her. She had blue and black hair, a twisted smile, and multichromatic eyes. One was blue, the other was green. She wore torn and gothic clothes.

"Oh, so I take it YOU'RE Pandora?" Chris said, checking his list.

"Undoubtedly!" Pandora said with a smirk as she marched to where the others were standing.

"Hey, I really like your hair," Vicky smiled at the newcoming girl.

"Oh really?" Pandora smiled back, giggling. "Yours is pretty friggin' awesome, too!"

"Alright, I have to admit, Vicky seems pretty awesome. I think I made my first friend!" Pandora giggled.
-STATIC-

"Next up is...Wait what is this?" Chris picked up a small, grey armadillo.

"Oh, that's mine!" Mo giggled as she grabbed her pet.

"It says here that KB is a camper!" Chris seemed flustered.

"KB. For Kickball," Mo smiled deviously. "Don't worry I can fix this."

Mo took the armadillo to the woods and began chanting. As she did so, purple magic swirled around Kickball and transformed him into a human boy. The two ran back to the dock and showed Chris.

"Chris, this is Kevin," Mo panted.

"Apparently this is our newest camper, Kevin," Chris said, unamused.

"Who's next?" Nova asked.

"Whoa what's that light?" Vicky tilted her head to the left.

"Campers, this is Aden," Chris announced. As he said that, a brunette teen walked right past him and stood in the croud, the light dying down.

-STATIC-
"Okay, that was just really creepy. And that's extreme when I have to say it!" Mo said, pointing to the camera.
-STATIC-

Chris gathered everyone around the campsite and showed them the four repaired cabins.

"Two of these cabins belong to one team, the Noxious Jellyfish, and the other two belong to the other team, the Nuclear Snakes," Chris said, pointing to two green-marked and two red-marked cabins respectively. Bastion and Vicky exchanged nervous looks as the rest of the previous contestants made their way to the campsite.

"I am SO psyched to meet the new guys and girls! It's gonna be so fun with more people around!" Zoey smiled.

"Alright, I admit that Vicky seems like a pretty cool girl. I just hope she doesn't end up being someone irritating," Scott said, folding his arms.

"Alright campers! Let's assign you into teams!" Chris said, smiling.
